Main research activities related to EPNs:
Controlling slugs and snails with Phasmarhabditis hermaphrodita in vegetable crops and several flowers.

Specializations:

  • Controlling insect pests in outside vegetable and arable crops
  • Control of thrips in leek, onion and cabbage crops with chemicals, biological products including EPN
  • Seedcoating of vegetable and arable seeds with insecticides, molluscicides or biological products against insects and slugs
  • Monitoring click beetle with pheromones to control the wirewom in arable crops
  • Controlling slugs in vegetable crops and flowers (in glasshouses) with biological agents as nematodes Phasmarhabditis hermaphrodita
