David Deakin, Otiorhynchinae Supply & Advice
David worked for ADAS for almost 20 years and during that time undertook
many vine weevil studies for both DEFRA and corporate companies.
Studies included evaluating biological control methods and researching
new chemicals, either incorporated into compost or applied as a
drench.
During
1999, David set-up his own business to supply vine weevils for use
in ADAS trials and now through recommendations he supplies vine
weevil (at all stages) to R&D companies across Europe.
